Give birds a safe approach.

Put it where bright fruit is easy to spot, preferably shaded during warm afternoons.

Tradeoffs

Useful during migration, but fruit spoils quickly and can attract insects.

Maintenance

Make clean easy.

Remove fruit before it ferments or molds; wash sticky surfaces after every serving.

If birds appear sick, pause feeding and follow current local wildlife guidance.
